Personal Data Notice (KVKK)
Information on the processing of personal data as data controller under Law No. 6698.
1. Data Controller
Under Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("KVKK"), your personal data is processed by Isoland Metal in its capacity as data controller, within the scope explained below. The data controller's contact details are given on the Contact page of our website.
2. Personal Data Processed
Within the scope of the requests you send through our website, the following data categories may be processed:
- Identity data: First name, last name
- Contact data: E-mail address, phone number, company name and address
- Customer transaction data: Quote request content, size/cross-section, insulation type, thermal class and quantity related to the winding conductor, correspondence records
- Transaction security data: IP address, form submission date and time, browser information
3. Purposes of Processing
Your personal data is processed for the following purposes:
- Responding to quote and information requests regarding products and services
- Conducting pre-contract discussions and performing the contract
- Customer relationship management and tracking of request/complaint processes
- Planning and execution of goods and service sales processes
- Fulfilment of legal obligations and compliance with retention periods
- Ensuring information security and preventing misuse
4. Legal Grounds for Processing
Your personal data is processed under Article 5/2 of the KVKK on the following legal grounds:
- Being directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract (Art. 5/2-c)
- Being necessary for the data controller to fulfil a legal obligation (Art. 5/2-ç)
- Being necessary for the establishment, exercise or protection of a right (Art. 5/2-e)
- Being necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject (Art. 5/2-f)
Where explicit consent is required, data is processed only within the scope of your explicit consent; you may withdraw your consent at any time.
5. Transfer of Personal Data
Your personal data may be transferred, within the framework of Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK and limited to the purpose, to authorised public institutions to fulfil legal obligations, to the hosting, e-mail and IT infrastructure providers we work with, and where necessary to the legal and financial advisory parties we work with. Where a transfer abroad is involved, the conditions foreseen by the Law are observed.
6. Method of Collection
Your personal data is collected partly by automated means, through the contact and quote forms on our website, e-mail, telephone and similar electronic channels.
7. Retention Period
Your personal data is retained for the period necessary for the purpose for which it is processed, taking into account the limitation and retention periods foreseen in the relevant legislation. At the end of the period the data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
8. Rights of the Data Subject (KVKK Art. 11)
By applying to the data controller you may exercise the following rights:
- To learn whether your personal data is processed
- To request information if it has been processed
- To learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in line with that purpose
- To know the third parties to whom data is transferred at home or abroad
- To request correction if it has been processed incompletely or incorrectly
- To request deletion or destruction within the conditions foreseen by the Law
- To request that correction, deletion and destruction be notified to third parties to whom data has been transferred
- To object to a result against you arising from the analysis of processed data solely by automated systems
- To request compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing
9. Application Method
You may submit your requests in writing under the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller, or through a registered electronic mail (KEP) address, secure electronic signature, mobile signature or the e-mail address you have previously notified to us and which is registered in our system. Your applications are concluded within thirty days at the latest.
