Electrolytic copper busbars and round rods for panel and busbar applications; EN 13601 compliant.
Copper busbar and rod are the carrying conductors of switchgear panels, distribution busbars, transformer connections and earthing systems. They are produced from Cu-ETP electrolytic copper by extrusion and cold drawing; they are delivered with rounded (radiused) or sharp edges.
For corrosion-prone environments and joints requiring low contact resistance, an electrolytic tin-plated busbar option is offered. All products can be shipped project-ready with cut-to-length, drilling and bending operations.

In busbar selection the section is determined not only by the current-carrying capacity but also by short-circuit heating, the support spacing and the number of joint points.
