Product Description
This product combines the temperature endurance of aramid insulation with the lightness of aluminium. In the large-section windings of dry-type transformers, total weight directly affects both the supporting-structure design and the field transport and assembly plan; aluminium provides a marked advantage here.
The high tensile strength of meta-aramid paper partly compensates for aluminium's relatively low yield strength: during winding the insulation behaves like a shell supporting the conductor and reduces deformation risk.
The paper is assessed to IEC 60819 requirements; the conductor is produced in EN AW-1370 grade. The standard structure is offered as Class 200 (N), and can rise to class 220 (R) depending on the number of layers and the impregnation system.

Large-section dry-type transformers, light traction transformers, wind-farm nacelle transformers, mobile transformer units.
