    Product Description

    Dennison type paper is an electrical insulation paper with higher density and more uniform grammage distribution than standard kraft paper. This structure allows working with a thinner insulation layer for the same dielectric strength; the area gained in the winding window is directly reflected in the fill factor.

    The dense structure is also mechanically more durable: the risk of tearing at the conductor corners during winding is reduced and the paper surface stays smoother. This property is why it is preferred in disc windings working with tight tolerances and in high-voltage taps.

    The paper complies with the electrical-purpose cellulosic paper requirements under IEC 60554. Its oil-absorption behaviour and moisture-release rate in the drying cycle must be evaluated together with the transformer manufacturer's process parameters.
