Annual Round Enamelled Conductor Agreement for an Electric Motor Maker
A 12-month framework agreement for a mass-production motor line; safety stock and weekly feed plan on fast-moving diameter steps.
About the Project
On the high-volume mass-production motor line the real risk was not price but continuity: a stock interruption on a single diameter step could stop the whole line. A framework agreement was structured on the basis of the customer's one-year consumption forecast.
Under the agreement, safety stock was set for the most-consumed round enamelled conductor diameter steps, while for less-used steps the production schedule was blocked in advance. Product definitions were clarified at thermal-class and build-grade level, removing ambiguity in the order texts.
Feed was planned in weekly batches; each reel was shipped with a label carrying metreage, size, thermal class and batch number. No line-related material wait occurred in the first period of the agreement.
